The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve Icicle Seafoods, Inc. application for Air Quality Control Minor AQ1516MSS01 for Northern Victor.
Applicant: Icicle Seafoods, Inc., 4019 21st Avenue W, Seattle, WA 98199
Location: Latitude: 401021.69 m E; Longitude: 5974804.23 m N
Activity: Icicle Seafoods, Inc.’s application is classified under 18 AAC 50.502(c)(1), 18 AAC 50.502(c)(2)(B), and 18 AAC 50.508(5) for the relocation of the Northern Victor fish processing marine vessel.
Emissions: 99.4 tpy NOx, 71.3 tpy CO, 3.4 tpy VOC, 9.8 tpy PM/PM-10/PM-2.5, and 1.0 tpy SO2
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.

Opportunity for Public Participation:
Notice is also given that any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents within 30 days after the first publication date. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period.
