Apply to stake a parcel of state land! This year’s offerings are in Southwest Alaska and the Interior. The two staking areas are Mount Ryan II, on the Steese Highway, and Granite Mountain on the Kuskokwim River, approximately 50 air miles southwest of McGrath.

The brochure will be available online by July 20, 2017 at http://landsales.alaska.gov, and in print from DNR’s Public Information Centers in Anchorage and Fairbanks by August 21, 2017, as well as other distribution points statewide. Drawing: November 1, 2017. Attendance at the drawing is not required and will not affect the outcome.
