Subject to AS 38.05.070(b) the Southcentral Region Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 10-year lease to the Mountaineering Club of Alaska for a .25 acre site for the construction of a hut for providing shelter and safety for non-motorized backcountry travelers, located north of Montana Peak. The proposed site is located within the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 14, Township 21 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian.
The public is invited to review and comment on this Decision. A copy of the Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx or is available in hardcopy upon request. All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 5:00 PM on May 22, 2017.
