Pavement Preservation Design Services
RFP Number 25172044
The Contractor shall provide professional design services for the milling and resurfacing of the travel lanes for this 2.5 mile segment, which may include improvements to pedestrian curb ramps, guardrail, guardrail end treatments, dig-outs, drainage repair, sign replacement, traffic signals, and replacement striping. Services include environmental activities, survey and mapping, a design study report, public involvement, erosion and sediment control plan, utilities, plans, specifications, and estimates. Assistance during bidding and construction shall also be provided. It is anticipated that the Contracting Agency will provide the following services: environmental document, right-of-way, and bridge design. The Contracting Agency also intends to provide geotechnical services, but reserves the right to accomplish this work by any other means including adding the services by an amendment.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately June 2017 to October 2021. Cost of these professional services is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 10, 2017 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the Municipality of Anchorage may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than May 1, 2017, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
