Community and Public Transportation Advisory Board Teleconference Meeting

The Community and Public Transportation Advisory Board (C&PTAB) will hold a meeting by teleconference Thursday March 16, 2017 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon Alaska time.

Purpose of meeting:

  • Discuss status of Action items (Interagency Coordination, Calculating Costs Methodology, Accessible Taxicabs, Tribal Coordination)
  • Review additional work items (research, outreach, legislation)
  • Review 2017 teleconference schedule

 

 The C&PTAB derives its authority from AS 44.42.90. It is charged with analyzing community and public transportation services in the state and making recommendations for improved agency coordination and combining of services to achieve cost savings in the funding and delivery of community and public transportation services. It is charged with assessing the community and public transportation needs of Alaskans and recommending means for the removal of barriers that prevent coordination of services to meet those needs.
