Program No. 2501000023/Anvil Mountain Correctional Center Water Main Upgrade

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Anvil Mountain Correctional Center Water Main Upgrade, Program Number 2501000023, will be received until 2:00 p.m., April 12, 2017 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project constructs a new water main, including trenching and excavation for approximately 600 lineal feet, installation of a complete new 6-foot diameter manhole, electrical, mechanical, and piping hookups, and installation of glycol heat system. Work also includes repairs to existing fencing and installation of new fencing.

A project site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Prior coordination is required. Contact Colleen Gould at colleen.gould@alaska.gov to confirm attendance at site visit. If no bidders respond, site visit will be cancelled.

Prior clearance to attend site visit is required. Bidders must submit “Request for Clearance” for each individual attending, per the requirements of Section 01 54 00.  Request for Clearance must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to site visit. No requests will be accepted after this time, and an alternate site visit will not be scheduled.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be September 30, 2017.

From that website, your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room by faxing your request to (907) 269-0425 or calling (907) 269-0408 or your bid may not be accepted.  Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether your company is registering as a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier.  You may not change or alter the downloaded bidding forms in any way.  Electronic bids will not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a bid/proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
