Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Region Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: TK Enterprise, LLC
PROJECT NAME: LAS 31620
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located approximately three miles east of Talkeetna and one mile south of the Talkeetna River.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Sections 01, 02, 03, 09, 10, 11, 16, 21, Township 026 North, Range 004 West, Seward Meridian
Sections 03, 04, 05, 06, Township 026 North, Range 003 West, Seward Meridian
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant originally requested cross-country travel January through April of heavy equipment consisting of a Bombardier Muskeg and John Deere 350 BW across state land for the purpose of drilling a domestic water well. Applicant requested that due to DOT imposed seasonal weight restrictions that his authorization also include travel during the months of June through July.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: January 1, 2017
End: April 30, 2021
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: May 11, 2017
The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 550 West 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
