The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Air Quality Control Operating Permit No. AQ0088TVP04 to Unisea, Inc. Dutch Harbor Seafood Processing Plant, under Alaska Statutes 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.

Emissions: The potential annual emissions at the source will not exceed: 29 tons PM, 750 tons NOx, 3 tons SO2, 77 tons CO, and 18 tons of VOCs. The total emissions of regulated air pollutants is 874 tons per year.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for the Dutch Harbor Seafood Processing Plant.
Available Information: Copies of the draft permit and Statement of Basis are available at ADEC’s offices at 555 Cordova Street, Anchorage, AK 99501, (907) 269-7577 and 410 Willoughby Avenue, Juneau, AK 99801. The administrative record for this permit is available for review at the above ADEC offices during normal business hours.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Notice is also given that any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents by the close of the public comment period. Written comments will be included in the record if received by close of the comment period. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. Any person may request a public hearing and that hearing will be held if ADEC finds that good cause exists. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period. ADEC complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
