SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE ALASKA BOARD OF GAME
This is a SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE adding to the NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES that was issued December 3, 2014, hereby incorporated by reference, concerning proposed regulation changes in Title 5 of the Alaska Administrative Code. This SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE is being issued to notify the public of the following topics being added to the Board of Game (board) scheduled to be considered at the meeting noted.
The following additional topics will be addressed at the board’s Southcentral Region meeting scheduled for March 13 – 17, 2015 at the University of Alaska, Student Union, located at 3211 Providence Drive, Anchorage, Alaska. The on-time public comment deadline is February 27, 2015. However, written comments may be submitted to the Board of Game at any time before the proposal is taken up by the board in deliberations via fax to (907) 465-6094, or in person, if 20 copies are provided.
- Seasons and bag limit for bison in Unit 8, 5 AAC 85.010, (Proposal 213);
- Ownership of domesticated big game, 5 AAC 92.029 (Proposal 213); and
- Agenda change request policy, 5 AAC 92.005 (Proposal 214).
All other provisions posted in the December 3, 2014 NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES remain the same, including the public comment period and tentative meeting schedule. However, the public is encouraged to check the meeting information website below for changes resulting from any proposals that may be deferred from the Central/Southwest Region meeting, scheduled through February 20, 2015, particularly proposals 207 and 208.
