ITB 2015-0900-2954, Uniform, General Wear and Personal Hygiene Items for Alaska Military Youth Cadets

The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Alaska Military Youth Academy (AMYA) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide uniforms, general wear and personal hygiene items for the AMYA cadets enrolled in the ChalleNGe program.

Deadline for Receipt of Bids. Current deadline for receipt of bids in response to this ITB is 2:00 p.m. Alaska time on March 3, 2015. Information on submitting a bid can be found in the attached ITB. Late bids will be rejected.

Important Notice. If you are receiving this solicitation from the State of Alaska Online Public Notice website, you must register with the DMVA/DAS Procurement Office to receive subsequent amendments. Registration requests must be in writing and submitted to the DMVA/DAS Procurement Office. Failure to register may result in the rejection of your bid.

Notice to Vendors. On July 1, 2015 the State of Alaska will implement IRIS – a collection of integrated software modules that handle finance, procurement, payroll and human resource management processes. IRIS, which stands for Integrated Resource Information System, also includes a Vendor Self Service (VSS) component. The VSS online portal will allow vendors to respond to solicitations, maintain account information, track financial information, and process invoices electronically. To keep vendors informed the IRIS team has established a landing page at http://doa.alaska.gov/dof/iris/vendor.html. We are encouraging all vendors to visit the landing page and sign up to receive important email updates regarding vendor registration. (VSS will not be used for state employees or those vendors doing business with the Division of General Services Leasing Section, Department of Fish and Game Licensing and foreign vendors.)
