Citizens' Advisory Commission on Federal Areas Meeting In Juneau on January 30 & 31, 2015

The Citizens' Advisory Commission on Federal Areas (CACFA) will be meeting in Juneau on Friday, January 30 in room 519 of the Capitol Building & Saturday, January 31, 2015 in room 106 of the Capitol Building.

A tentative agenda is attached here and is available on our website.  Multiple presentations and agency updates are scheduled and there will be ample time provided for public comment.

On January 14, the Commission passed a resolution at its public work session to create the Alaska State Lands Advisory Group (ASLAG).  The number of potential group members has not yet been determined.  The Commission is now accepting nominations for appointment to ASLAG; a nomination form and more information on the resolution and ASLAG can be found on our website starting at 4pm on January 16.  Any nominations must be submitted at or before the last public comment opportunity on the last day of the Commission’s Juneau meeting:  4pm on January 31. 

This meeting will be broadcast on Alaska Legislative TV at AlaskaLegislative.tv.  There will also be a teleconference line available for listening and participation.  Call 463-5009 from Juneau and 1-855-463-5009 from outside Juneau or the lower-48.
