PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN PITKA’S POINT, ALASKA
BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
On October 14, 2014, the Pitka’s Point Traditional Council adopted a resolution requesting the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, acting as trustee for a future city in Pitka’s Point, Alaska, in accordance with AS 44.33.75(b), to grant a Quitclaim Deed to the Association of Village Council Presidents for the following described lands:
The surface estate of Lots 10 and 11, Block 1 of the Pitka’s View Subdivision recorded in the Bethel Recording District on January 27, 1988 as plat no. 88-4 located in Section 31, Township 23 North, Range 76 West, Seward Meridian, being situated in the Native village of Pitka’s Point, Alaska, containing .459 acres.
In accordance with 3 AAC 190.430 and .440 the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, approves the conveyance to the Association of Village Council Presidents Regional Housing Authority.
This notice is being posted and published in accordance with the requirements of 3 AAC 190.420 and .910. This approval becomes final upon the expiration of 30 days following the publication of this notice, or after 30 days of continuous posting of this notice, whichever is later.
