Material Sale Application ADL 420301
The Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Northern Regional Office- Lands Section (NRO) has received an application for the extraction of material from a designated master material site, ADL 419568. This existing site, which has already been determined appropriate for continued material extraction, is located at approximately MP 38.8 Dalton Highway, within Section 14, Township 11 North, Range 9 West, Fairbanks Meridian, containing approximately 106.3 acres, and is commonly referred to as MS 65-3-018-2, 39 Mile Quarry.
The DMLW is notifying the public that the NRO is seeking information related to the ongoing extraction of material from this site, that may assist in the development of specific operating/reclamation requirements for the site, or identifying any multiple land use issues that may need to be addressed prior to issuance of a contract.
DEADLINE FOR WRITTEN COMMENTS:
Written comments must be received in writing by the DMLW, Lands Section on or before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2014 in order to ensure consideration.
