The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with the AEA’s Power Project Fund loan program, including the following:
3 AAC 106.100 – 106.900 is proposed to be amended. The changes will provide clarification regarding the Power Project Fund loan program including addition of a nominal charge for processing loan applications and guidance regarding loan terms.
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to Cady Lister, Program manager, at 813 West Northern Lights, Anchorage, AK 99503. Additionally, AEA will accept comments by facsimile addressed to Cady Lister at 907-771-3039 and by electronic mail at clister@aidea.org. Comments may also be submitted through the Alaska Online Public Notice System, by accessing this notice on the system and using the "comment" link. The comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. November14.
Oral or written comments also may be submitted at a hearing to be held on Monday, November 3, 2014, in the Board Room at AEA, 813 West Northern Lights Blvd, Anchorage, Alaska. The hearing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and might be extended to accommodate those present before 11:00 a.m. who did not have an opportunity to comment. After the public comment period ends, AEA will either adopt these or other provisions dealing with the same subject,without further notice, or decide to take no action. Adoption may occur at the next board meeting to be held in December, or at a later date. The language of the final regulations may be different from that of the proposed regulations. You should comment during the time allowed if your interests could be affected. Written comments received are public records and are subject to public inspection.
