The Northern Region State of AlaskaDepartment of Transportation and Public Facilities (DEPARTMENT), Division ofPreconstruction Services, Design Section is seeking professional services for environmental document preparation, public involvement assistance,agency coordination assistance, and permitting assistance for the Parks Hwy MP 231 Enhancements and OldNenana/Ester Hill Rehabilitation projects.

A completedescription of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of theAgreement is approximately December 2014through December 2016. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 and $500,000.

The Request forProposals (RFP) Package will be available OCTOBER 9, 2014, and may be downloaded from our web site at:  http://www.dot.state.ak.us/procurement/prosvcs/index.shtml; then clickon “Request for Proposals over:”under the Requests for Proposals heading. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room atthe Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks,Alaska.  Persons residing outside theCity of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD (907) 451-2363 (for HearingImpaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.

Proposals mustconform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received at the addressindicated on the RFP no later than OCTOBER 30, 2014, 4:00 p.m., prevailingtime.
