NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS
OF THE ALASKA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND EXPORT AUTHORITY
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority proposes to adopt regulation changes to its Conduit Revenue Bond Program Fees. The proposed amendments to the conduit revenue bond fees reflect an effort to bring these fees in line with the Authority’s true cost of issuing bonds.
The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with Conduit Revenue Bond Program fees, including the following:
(1) 3 AAC 99.110(b) is proposed to be changed to increase the Authority’s application fee from $500 to $1,000 for seeking the Authority’s assistance in issuing conduit revenue bonds.
(2) 3 AAC 99.140 is proposed to be changed to modify the issuance fees the Authority charges for conduit revenue bonds. The proposed issuance fees would vary depending on whether the conduit revenue bonds are subject to the volume cap provision of 26 U.S.C. 147, and depending on the amount of the bonds to be issued. The proposed amendments to the conduit revenue bond fees reflect an effort to bring these fees in line with the Authority’s true cost of issuing bonds.
