NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Yakutat Airport Aeronautical Survey and ALP Update
RFP Number 02553008
The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to collect and reference airport survey data to FAA’s National Spacial Reference System for inclusion to the NGS Airport Surveying-Geographic Information System (GIS) Program. Services would include collection of aeronautical survey data including aerial photography, runway end positions, runway vertical profiles, positions and elevation of navigational aids, positions and elevations of obstructions, and airport geodetic control.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is October 31, 2014 to October 31, 2015. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 8, 2014 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4488. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than September 30, 2014, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages.

If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda. Every effort will be made by the Department to insure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to insure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
