Corrected Notice of Utility Tariff
Filing
On
August 26, 2014, the REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) issued a
public notice regarding the Multi-Year Sales Agreement for the Furnishing of Ultra
Low Sulfur Diesel #2 for Matanuska Electric Association, Inc.’s (MEA) Eklutna
Generation Station between MEA and CPD Alaska, LLC (Agreement). The proposed
effective date is October 6, 2014.
That
notice erroneously stated that MEA was seeking approval of the Agreement. With this corrected notice, we clarify that the
Agreement is filed informationally under 3 AAC 52.470(e) and MEA is only
seeking approval of the recovery of Agreement-related costs in MEA’s future
Fuel and Purchased Power Cost Rate Adjustment calculation and the proposed
tariff sheet listing MEA’s fuel supply agreements and contracts.
This notice does not contain every pertinent
revision or request associated with this filing. The Commission may approve a
