Location: Copper River Meridian, Section 2, Township 042 South, Range 067 East (north of Mt. Bradley in the Paris Creek drainage at about 1500 feet in elevation, Douglas, Alaska); 58°20 North, –134°38 West.
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) has received a permit-renewal application and related documents from Eleanor Laurent (“Applicant”) for a 0.18-acre parcel of State uplands. The Applicant intends to maintain an already-existing cabin and generator shed for the Island Riders Association, a recreational snowmobiler’s club. Island Riders Association has been the parcel’s permittee since 2004.
DMLW invites and welcomes the public and agencies to comment on this application and note initial concerns within a thirty-day notice period.
