INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Central Region Highway Data Equipment 2012, Project Number STP-000S(787)/52809, will be received until 2:00 p.m., August 15, 2014 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will repair and/or upgrade 26 Automated Traffic Recorder Sites. Work includes placement or replacement of presence loops, piezometers, cabinets and cabinet foundations, temperature data probes and ambient air sensors, modems, phone lines, power lines, load centers, tilt poles and radar detection units,  minor grading, removal and replacement of pavement, and striping.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000.  The Project completion date will be September 15, 2015.  The DBE goal for this project is 4.1%.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
