REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

 

Sealed proposals for Department of Military and Veteran Affairs Job Order Construction Contract (RFP 2014), Project Number PF-JOCC-2014-1, will be received until 4:00 p.m., March 24, 2014 in the offices of Chief of Contracts at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract will perform maintenance, repair, alteration, remodel and small to medium-sized construction work at DMVA facilities at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska.  Occasionally, work may occur in the Wasilla area and on the Kenai Peninsula.  Contractor shall be responsible for both design and construction work.

The anticipated period of performance is one (1) year with up to four (4) one-year option periods. The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for the initial period of performance.

A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the large conference room at the DOT&PF Annex at 2200 East 42nd Avenue, Anchorage AK 99508. 

Proposal documents and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge on the DOT/PF website: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/apps/contracts?ACTION=bidcal#41355 Your company must register with the Central Region Plans Room by faxing your request to (907) 269-0425 or calling (907) 269-0408 or your proposal may not be accepted.  Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether you are registering as a General, Subcontractor, or Supplier.  You may not change or alter the downloaded proposal forms in any way.  Electronic proposals will not be accepted. 

Proposal documents may also be viewed at the DOT&PF offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau and obtained for $100.00 from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m., (907) 269-0408.  Additional information is available under “Procurement” on the DOT&PF web site at (www.dot.alaska.gov).
