Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is in the process of a Master Plan Update, which will help guide future airport development. The fifth meeting of the ANC Master Plan Update Technical Advisory Committee is scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the ANC Badge Office, Room NA165 of the North Terminal, 4600 Postmark Drive, Anchorage, AK 99502.
At the meeting, ANC will share the results of the alternatives evaluation, as well as the draft plan for ensuring the airport’s ability to meet long-term aviation needs. Comments on the draft plan will be used to assist the planning team in finalizing the plan in November 2013. The Master Plan Update will be finalized at the end of 2013 and will identify trigger points that would establish the need for future airport development.
The public is welcome to observe the meeting, and if time allows, provide comments at the end. Following the meeting, a public open house will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Coast International Inn. For more information visit www.ancmasterplan.com.
The Technical Advisory Committee is comprised of representatives from commercial airlines, freight carriers, airport leaseholders, general aviation users, and the FAA.
