The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) and USKH Inc. invite the Aniak community to a meeting to discuss the ongoing improvements to the Aniak Airport. Among the proposed improvements:
• Extending the Runway Safety Area (RSA) at both ends;
• Relocating the roads around the ends of the new extensions,
• Removing or illuminating obstructions (to include tree cutting),
• Reducing the runway length by 100 feet, and
• Relocating electrical and telephone lines
