Notice of adopted changes to the regulations of the Alaska Board of Fisheries regarding statewide general commercial and sport finfish provisions and certain other commercial and sport finfish and shellfish provisions, including Kenai River late-run king salmon.
During its March 19-23, 2013, meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, the Alaska Board of Fisheries adopted regulation changes in Title 5 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with statewide general sport and commercial finfish provisions and supplemental issues, including the Kenai River Late-Run King Salmon Management Plan, a small boat commercial red king crab fishery in the Aleutian Islands Area if stock assessment allow it to be opened, and a delay in the opening of the Chignik Area commercial Tanner crab fishery based on gale warning.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, filed by the Lieutenant Governor on May 2, 2013, and will go into effect on June 1, 2013. The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 206, July 2013 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
