The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), will be hosting a Design Open House Public Meeting for the Glenn Highway Milepost 34-42 Reconstruction Project (Project No’s: 58104/NH-0A1-5(24).
When: Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Where: Palmer Community Center (Depot), 610 S. Valley Way, Palmer, AK
Stop by and see the highway design as it has evolved with input from you, the City of Palmer, Mat-Su Borough, Alaska Railroad and other agencies, landowners and stakeholders. This design will form the basis for acquisition of right of way that is scheduled to begin this fall.
Design began in 2008 to accommodate increasing levels of traffic by adding lanes, widened shoulders, and other traffic and safety improvements.
The open-house style meeting will allow you to stop by anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Project staff will be available to discuss, answer questions, and take your comments.
