Clarifications

Item No.1:    Door Frames are to be Welded Steel as specified in Sec. 08 1213 of the specifications.

Item No.2:     All doors to be new doors and match existing building standard. With the exception of door 212, this existing door is to be reused.

Item No.3:    Bid date has changed to May 23, 2013 4:00 pm local time.

Item No.1: Soffits at exterior windows
The soffits are not to be demo’d entirely, only as needed at the ends so that they can be extended to properly interface with the ACT at those points.

Colors to follow and or if it changes it will be done through a change order

Item No.3: Color choices for carpet tile tbd later

Description of Work:
Work under this Contract comprises building improvements to the Fairbanks Regional Office Building, 675 7th Ave, Fairbanks, Alaska. This work involves interior demolition, reconstruction, modifications, and upgrading within the building. The Contractor will be required to furnish all materials and equipment and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish all work covered by the contract. The job will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, demolition, etc.
A non-mandatory pre bid meeting for this project will  be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Fairbanks Regional Office Building located at 675 7th Ave., Fairbanks, Alaska by Contracting Officer Dan Reynolds and will be followed by an onsite walkthrough. Attendance at this meeting is highly recommended.

Project completion date no later than September 15, 2013.

Engineer's estimate is Between $400,000 and $650,000

Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids, in single copy, for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and for performing all work for the project described above. Bids will be opened publicly at 2:00 p.m. local time, May 22, 2013 at:
