The fifth meeting of the Master Plan Update Working Group is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 11am to 1pm. The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room of the CIRI Building at 2525 C Street, Anchorage, AK 99503. The purpose of the meeting is to present draft Airport development alternatives to meet future aviation demand. Comments on the draft alternatives will be collected and used to assist the planning team in evaluating the draft alternatives. The public is welcome to observe the meeting, and if time allows, provide comments at the end of the meeting. A public open house will also be held to present these draft Airport development alternatives on May 23, 2013. For more information visit www.ancmasterplan.com.
The Airport plans to identify a draft preferred alternative in September 2013, and solicit further public comment at that time prior to selecting a final alternative.
The Working Group is a body of neighborhood, community, recreational, environmental, and business interest groups, and is one of many tools that will be used to gather public input throughout the Master Plan Update.
