The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to permit the use of a strip of land consisting of approximately 17 acres (ADA-08886), at the Quartz Creek Airport for five (5) years.  Applicant:  Alaska Horsemen Trail Adventures.  Authorized uses:  Non-aviation – horse grazing in support of Permittee’s tourism business. Annual fee: $550.00.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., May 20, 2013, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the Permit.  Only a person who submits written comment or objection, or a competing application, to the Department at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice and includes a return address, is entitled to have notice of the Department’s decision sent to that address.
