Juneau Douglas Fish and Game Advisory Committee Meeting

ADF&G Juneau/Douglas Fish and Game Advisory Committee Meeting
The Juneau/Douglas Fish and Game Advisory Committee (JDAC) is having a meeting
on February 8, 2011 at 7PM.

There is one (1) open Hunting Guide seat for a three (3) year term expiring
12/31/2013. Criteria to hold seat is: “Must be a licensed big game guide or
assistant guide”.
At this meeting the JDAC will also be discussing:
The proposed Taku River critical habitat area. No public comments will be taken
on this item. A brief overview of The Open Meeting Act. D
iscussion and Development of proposals for the Alaska Board of Fisheries.

If you are interested in any of the issues on the table you are highly
encouraged to attend this meeting. JDAC meetings is open to the public. The
JDAC consists of community members from all user groups who come together and
discuss fish and game issues and recommend changes to current regulations. They
also represent their community before the Board of Fisheries and Board of Game
at board meetings.
