I would like to comment on the Marijuana initiative.
I believe that this initiative should be to decriminalize the herb that is a grown weed. Keep it green. The concern I have is large commercial operations and the edibles that appeal to children. This should not be done to appeal to children. 
Facts show that marijuana is far less harmful than alcohol. With so many people that would prefer to choose marijuana instead of alcohol as a means to relax after work but are not allowed that freedom due to the illegal nature, just decriminalizing the use would go a long way to reduce alcohol consumption and related costs. 
We spend way too much money prosecuting people for using 'weed' when if we just legalize it we could save a fortune in public safety,  legal and incarceration fees and give people the freedom to choose marijuana over alcohol.
